What are research compounds, and how are they used?
Research compounds are materials supplied strictly for laboratory and analytical purposes. They are not approved or intended for human or veterinary use, and are typically used in preclinical experiments, academic studies, and product development testing.
Are your compounds tested for purity?
Yes — every batch is independently characterized for identity and purity to a published standard of greater than 99%. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is available on the COAs & Test Results page and is issued with every order.
What testing methods do you use?
Our reference materials are characterized using RP-HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry for identity confirmation, and additional supporting tests including Karl Fischer (water), bioburden, and bacterial endotoxin screening where applicable.
Are your products legal to purchase in the U.S. and Canada?
Quantam Research supplies its catalog as research-use-only reference compounds within the United States and Canada. Availability of individual items may be restricted based on local regulations, and Quantam Research reserves the right to refuse service in any jurisdiction.
Who can order from Quantam Research?
Orders are accepted from qualified researchers, academic institutions, contract research organizations, and licensed laboratories. By placing an order you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and ordering for legitimate research purposes only.
Do you offer fast domestic shipping?
Yes. In-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM ET are dispatched the same business day; remaining orders dispatch the following business day. Free shipping is offered on domestic orders over $250.
Can I track my order?
Yes. A tracking number is emailed once your order ships. You can also enter your order number on the Track Order page to view current status.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we ship within the United States and Canada only. International availability may be added in the future. Quantam Research does not ship to jurisdictions where its products are restricted.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, ACH/wire transfer for institutional orders, and selected digital payment methods. Payments are processed securely by trusted third-party gateways; Quantam Research does not store payment or card details.
How should I store the materials?
General storage recommendations are listed on each Certificate of Analysis. Most lyophilized reference materials in our catalog are stable at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Refer to the COA accompanying your batch for specific guidance.

Do you offer a refund or replacement policy?
